How to query

Combine words to require all of them; use OR for alternatives, "quoted words" for a phrase, and -word or -"quoted words" to exclude. Use the Identifier field for a partial identifier. Wildcards such as augus* are not supported by the current live query parser.

Live search uses indexed text. Fallback searches catalogue field values by substring, with phrase order inside one field; it does not search transcription bodies. A zero result in fallback says nothing about the full corpus.
